We’d like to thank everyone who came out on Saturday for the show at Mercury and hope you enjoyed the line-up as much as we did. A special thanks goes out to Dennis from Saints & Lovers for being one of the most genuine guys in rock – if you missed their show, you have GOT to get to the next one – his voice is absolutely incredible... And how about the Break-Up frenzy? We had such a great time with all of you.
We’ll be taking a holiday break and be back in the new year with even more new songs. Hope you liked the ones we played Sat. – more to come. We also shot a live video from a Don Hill’s show that we’ll be putting up on the website soon.
Happy Holidays!
10/21
We’d like to thank all the people who have given us so much positive feedback from the Supergrass Philly and Webster Hall shows – you make us smile. Wow, we gotta say it was SO MUCH FUN playing those shows – it feels great playing on a big stage –more room to jump around, and actually hear yourself sing! A big thanks to Supergrass for having us – they were nothing less than amazing as always.
A couple new things are updated on the website…. We’re in this month’s current issue of Nylon magazine (the one with the Donna’s on the cover) – go to our Press section if you want to read it.
Long overdue is a link from Jasper of some photos with a nice little review – thank you and Happy Birthday Jasper: http://www.jenyk.com/bandphotography/twentytwos13.htm
On a side note – PLEASE ignore all the spam we get on our guestbook – don’t be discouraged from writing to us… we do sift through all the porn and try to delete most of it (unless it’s REALLY good.. ha) and get to the real messages – yours!
Our next show is coming up – HALLOWEEN! We’re playing with some great bands that night, so we hope you stop by.
9/20
Hey all! We had such a fun show at Don Hill’s Saturday – thanks for coming out! We were shooting a video all day for our song, “She Does” and also shot the show – so some of you may end up in the video (especially those of you who were dancing, moshing – Susan – such great sports, that or you were REALLY drunk!) A big thanks to Luke (he was that crazy guy running all around the stage with a video camera who apparently fell off the stage at one point, and was pretty much fearless at being the “band cheerleader” and getting people riled up.) AND to our #1 fan and friend, Walter, for doing lights and pretty much keeping the spirits up all day – nevermind driving a few of our drunk asses home! Also a big thanks to Peter for doing sound, and Mark for setting us up during the day w/sound & lights, as well as Mr. Nick Marc and Don Hill for letting us use the club for the entire day.
Hope you liked the new song as well – we have more that we PROMISE to showcase for you soon – we were a bit shy I guess because well, sometimes when you rehearse in a shitty little hole-in-the-wall, you just don’t know how it’s gonna sound until soundcheck! Just a few tiny little things to fix and you’ll be hearing more new tunes!
So we’re pretty excited about our next 2 shows – we’re supporting SUPERGRASS who are the nicest bunch in the world of rock. We’ll be playing Philly next Tuesday, September 28th and then our hometown, NYC, on October 2nd at WEBSTER HALL! YEAH!
7/21/04
HELLO! Thank you all for coming out last night to our show at Rothko! We had a great time, loved the new club, and were happy to see so many new faces as well as all our dedicated fans - you're the best! Thank you to Audrey and Jasper for having us play their Vicious 1-Year Anniversary!
So some of you may notice that we've put up a new music page with MP3's of 4 new songs. Just so you know, these are not finalized mixes or even mastered yet. These are just to give you something fresh and show you what we've been working on. More to come in the near future... hope you enjoy!
7/15
Been awhile since we’ve made an update on this here little website of ours… sorry to be out-of-touch! Anyway – we’ve got a great show coming up – we’ll be playing the Vicious night at ROTHKO this coming Tuesday (July 20th) with the following bands: Demander, Hula, and Snowden. Looking forward to making some new friends – we go on at 10pm.
We’re taping a new session for Fearless Music TV this Saturday – we’ll keep you posted as to when it will be aired. There’s a couple of new songs in there for you that we’re excited about. Speaking of which, the last few rehearsals we’ve really been honing in on some new songs and writing more together which feels great. It’s been a good summer so far.
Well, that’s about all we can tell ya for now other than obvious things like how Jenny’s winning the race as to who can get the darkest tan the quickest. She says she’s got German in her, but we think she’s hiding a secret past. She’s been singing songs in Spanish lately, hmmm… fishy…. Terrah and Hannah are German too but are still pale so they’re thinking about forming a Goth side-project… hey, we’re all Cure fans after all and isn’t the 80’s the “hot new trend”…ha.… Jonny, well, Jonny will always be our cute English boy who loves his football, he’s probably 2nd runner up in the tan department being that he’s outside in his cute little shorts the most.
Hope you’re all enjoying your summer. Try to come out to our show this Tues. and take off your clothes and show us some tan lines!
News 6/25/04

March 31, 2004
We're ohh so ready for April - spring - hopefully? Maybe? Pretty please?
After getting stuck in traffic pumping the OutKast hits for what seemed like an hour and nearly getting into an accident caused my a screaming macho guy in a gas-guzzling SUV ("yo, mother-*'?*$@ I got my 2 f*?%'n kids in the back) - Yo, asshole, maybe you should think about setting a better example for your kids and try not to scream obscenities while manipulating a car full of 22's into the opposite lane of traffic... we FINALLY made it to our show out in New Jersey last Saturday. Shoutout to our friend and driver-for-the-evening, Walter, you're the MAN - thanks for dealing so calmly with that farthead (see, we're kid friendly, ha). Anyway, ALSO a shoutout to The Catholic Girls and Frankenstein 3000 for having us in their hometown. Ohh, yeah, we liked Gabe from Court Street Tavern. Nice soundguys who give a shit is a welcome in our books. Did we mention cute as well? Obviously Jonny's not writing this news page...
There's some great photos and review up from our Bowery show on Jasper's website: http://www.jenyk.com Thanks again to The Church and SeaRay for letting us share the stage and to any of our friends who actually paid that much to see us!
We'll be adding some of our own photos soon that we took in the recording studio while working on our album...
Getting the EP artwork printed this week and when that's all good and done, anyone who actually has read this News page so far, you will be THE FIRST TO KNOW that our EP will be out shortly and we will be making that available to you!
Check our Shows Page for the updates... our next one will again be in New Jersey opening up for Bruce and the E street band... actually, sorry, we meant to say The Bamboo Kids, but hey, they're from New Jersey too - it's easy to get confused, right? Actually, I just wanted to see if you've read this far...So hell, what else is there to say? Ummm... hmmmm.... Yeah, new song for our next show, it's about well, can't tell you - you'll just have to try and decipher for yourselves. Can't give away too much now can we?
March 22nd, 2004:
Hello! Well, we are done mastering the EP and putting the finishing touches on the artwork - lookin' and soundin' red hot! We are also out of the studio (the record will not be mixed and mastered till late spring/early summer). So we'll keep you updated on the release dates and make the EP available to you through our website!
Till then, we have quite a few shows coming up - we'll be hitting New Jersey for some shows with friends, so if you're out in that area - please come on down and rock out with us!
Bye!
News 2/20:
Yeah - we'll be coming out of the recording studio for a very special show with The Church at the Bowery Ballroom on March 8th! This will be our first time playing Bowery and we're excited!
Just finished mixing the EP and we're a happy band - hope you'll be happy too when you finally get it in your hands! We'll keep you posted on release dates, etc. The four tracks to be released on the EP are: "She Does", "Feel Alive", "Obvious", and "Touch & Go".
We just started our basic tracking for our first album - two words, Bryce Goggin - he's the man. We love him, his studio, the interns and Zelda the dog!
Bye for now!
News 2/13:
Hey there! Happy Friday the 13th !
Thanks to everyone who came out to our Plaid show... we had a lot of fun being that we haven't played out in awhile. Terrah would like to thank all of you who bought her jack & coke's - sorry to the girl who got doused in liquor!
We'd especially like to thank Chantel from Morningwood who went on after us and was shaking it like no other... you've got balls girl and our love goes out to you and your mom.
Well, we are going back into our cave and starting to record our album for the next 3 weeks with Bryce Goggin. We'll be gone for a little while but will be in touch and look for us to have another show in March hopefully to support our new EP that will be out around then.
Till then, take care and if you'd like to see some pictures from the show - Jasper once again has taken some amazing photos over at http://www.jenyk.com
Thank you Jasper!

Hello everyone! We’ve got some good news for all our fans that have been on our asses to put out a record… WE’RE FINALLY IN THE STUDIO RECORDING OUR FIRST EVER EP! Yeah! We’re working with our dear friend, Pete Minn, in his Brooklyn studio. Pete’s in an awesome band called AM GOLD – you should most definitely check them out! The 2 songs we finished so far are “She Does” and “Feel Alive”. 2 more to go and we’re looking at a February/March release hopefully. Sorry we couldn’t get it done any earlier or you would of all had some stocking stuffers for X-mas…
Speaking of stocking stuffers, we went into the Fearless Music TV studio last night and taped 6 songs that will be aired sometime in January throughout the New York tri-state area. Jonny played his drums in nothing but hiking boots, tighty whities, and a stocking cap. He intends to get us all drunk the next time around so he can be the clothed one – we’ll see about that. We’ll keep you posted on the channel, date, and times so you can watch our hot drummer in all his glory. Terrah took some pictures with her new digital camera and promises to post them soon for all of you to see!
Since it’s the season, we’d like to thank all of our fans who have been so supportive and willing to help spread the word. A big thanks again to everyone who helped make our trip to England possible – you know who you are! To all you bloggers out there - Sarah, Guilia, Jasper, Audrey, Jo - thanks for all the attention you’ve given us over the year…There’s a few bands too that have been such good friends to us and who always show support whether it be at shows, getting us shows, borrowing equipment, etc.… The Bamboo Kids, Stellastarr*, Morningwood, Supergrass, Pisser, A Place to Bury Strangers, and General Miggs.
We may have a show or two in the New Year, but till then we’ll be in the studio….
Ohh – there’s also some photo updates… our friend, Rika Nourita has taken some amazing photos from our Don Hill’s show, Plaid show, in the studio recording, and Terrah’s birthday. Go to the photo’s page and check ‘em out! Thank you Rika!
Hope everyone has a happy holiday!

10/9/03:
Hello everyone. Well, unfortunately Supergrass had to cancel the remaining dates of their US tour, which meant that we didn’t get to open for them in Washington DC or Brooklyn. We’re just honored enough that they had asked us to open for them again and we send them our love and well wishes.
We still made in down to Washington DC on Tuesday and had a fantastic day at the XM Satellite Radio studios. Thanks to Billy Zero, Grant Danhausen, and the rest of the boys at XM. We recorded our entire set live that followed with an interview soon to hit the XM Unsigned Bands Satellite station soon! We’ll be sure to keep you undated on when that will be aired. Photos soon to follow… We’d also like to thank our dear friend Tim who was our driver for the day and helped out with the equipment loading and kept the good tunes in the cd player!
Be sure to come out tomorrow night, Friday Oct. 10th at Plaid (13th St. between 4th Ave. and Broadway) – doors open at 10pm. We’re excited to play and dance the night away. Terrah’s birthday is almost upon us, so please feel free to booze her up and throw various items of clothing at the stage – maybe you can entice Jonny into giving us a striptease….
See ya tomorrow!

Thanks to everyone who made it out last night to our show at Sin-e. A shoutout to The AKA’s for having us play their record-release party. We made a lot of new friends and hope to see all of you again!

Hello… thank you to everyone who came out on Tuesday night for our Piano’s show. Although a quiet bunch, you were a great crowd and we understand the intimidation of cameras and video in the front of the stage!
There’s a great photo of Miss Jenny Christmas in today’s New York Daily News on page 48 in the Style section… an article about NY Clubs (Plaid, Piano’s, etc.) Grab a copy!
Also, be sure to check out Jasper’s photos and review of the show at http://www.jenyk.com
Shoutout to Jasper, Audrey, Ultragrrrl, Izler, The Red King, Counter, Jason and his crew, Dave who came despite a broken shoulder (we just loved your detachable arm rest!), and to all our friends who are always so supportive and make it to all our shows!
8/5/03
There's a great review in the NY Press - on our friend Jasper from http://www.jenyk.com and all the other bloggers in the NY area. Jasper has taken a lot of photos of our shows and we think he's a swell guy. He puts together a show at Sin-é every month called "Viscous" with Audrey from http://www.melodynelson.com Way to go guys!

Playing Irving Plaza last Wednesday night with Supergrass was the most rockin’ moment we’ve had as a band so far. It was so much fun we didn’t want to stop, they had to kick us off the stage! Couldn’t of asked for a more perfect venue (the crew was amazing), awesome receptive crowd, and can we just say that it was an honor to play with Supergrass – fuckin’ nice guys - no blue M&M’s in a bowl in their dressing room!
Thank you to all of you who have been such great friends to us and keep coming to our shows. We saw a lot of familiar faces in the crowd – and what a crowd it was. We can’t get the smiles off our faces – you all made it such a great night!
7/30/03
Played Mercury last night with Jesse Malin and Tara Angell….. damn, that felt good. Our trousers were getting tighter and sweatier by the minute… whew – to all of you in the front moving about, we just love ya! Jenny had fun rippin’ solos and singing to those whisperin’ birds in the front – “Make Fun” was for them last night… hope all of you enjoyed the new one…got another new one in the works as well.
Putting down the pavement at Irving Plaza tonight for Palo Alto and fucking Supergrass – yeah! Hope to see some of you there!
If anyone would like to share their photos or video of our shows – please contact us… we know they’re not going in your mama’s scrapbook, so share the love!
7/9/03: Thanks to everyone who made it out on a school night to our show at Sin-é last night (is that why you weren’t drinking enough to get rowdy?) There were lots of new faces along with familiar ones smiling back at us – we hope you come back for more…. Ohh and don’t be afraid next time to take the bopping of the heads a little further by shaking your booty, stomping on the ground, screaming obscenities, throwing shot glasses (at the wall please, not us!) – we promise we won’t think you’re less “cool” and if someone looks at you funny don’t be intimidated, they just don’t know how to have fun…. Remember, we play for you - yes YOU - and we want you to have fun!
Thanks to Jasper (http://www.jenyk.com) and Audrey (http://www.melodynelson.com) for putting the Vicious show together and inviting us to perform alongside Vinyl, The Hong Kong, and El Guapo.
7/2/03
Great little review written by Giula at http://www.newyorkdoll.org/ We like how she spells her name (pronounced like “Julia”)…. Terrah 22 knows the feelin’…
Hope all of you have a great 4th of July…we’ll hopefully be on a beach somewhere watching fireworks…
See ya next Tuesday the 8th at Sin-é!
6/30/03
Thanks to all who came out for our show at Don Hill’s this past Saturday. To the fans bopping in the front – we love you – you’re awesome! We love it when you dance – it adds a great energy to our set and is such a breath of fresh air from the typical “too cool” NY crowd staring with their arms crossed! Then again, we all do that sometimes… it’s okay, we wouldn’t want you to mess up your hair!
SIGN OUR FREAKIN’ GUESTBOOK – we wanna see all the gossip! It’s up and runnin’, so no excuses!
There were a lot of cameras and camcorders at the show… if any of you have photos or footage and would like to share, we’d loved to have a looky-loo and maybe post them on the website, with credits of course!
Thanks again for coming out on a beautiful Saturday night and paying the hefty cover… come see us again Tuesday, July 8th at Sin-é – it’s gonna be a hell of a party!
6/30/03

The band had their first road trip over the weekend! The Grape Street Pub in Philly was a fun host and the band got to play a show with their friends The Red King! Thanks to the entourage from New York, who came with the band and helped with all the equipment and getting drunk with us!
We look forward to playing our hometown NYC again this weekend at Don Hill’s…. we’re playing the Tiswas party this Saturday the 28th – so be sure to come out – we’re really looking forward to this one!
Also, we’ve added a “Guestbook” to our website – so be sure to sign on and send us messages….
A lot of you have been asking us if we have a cd available for sale. Right now, we just have a demo that’s not for sale…. But hopefully we will have something for you real soon and we’ll be sure to keep you posted!
